Anthony Weiner: Oh, Brother…

What to make of that human mess that is Anthony Weiner, the former Congressman from New York who is apparently unable to stop sending “sexually suggestive” pictures of himself to other women?

Well, for starters, his marriage to Huma Abedin — one of Hillary Clinton’s top aides — seems to be over, and justifiably so. Their marriage has been “one for the books” in many ways. They met 15 years ago when he was in his second term in Congress and she was a senior advisor for then-Sen. Clinton in New York.

They married in 2010, and wouldn’t you know it — Bill Clinton officiated. Yes, THAT Bill Clinton.

One year later, Weiner admitted it was his picture — in his underpants — that appeared on his Twitter account. He apologized to Huma, saying what he did was “a frivolous thing.” He resigned from Congress, and a few months later, Huma gave birth to their son.

Then in 2013, Weiner announced he was running for mayor of New York City. Two months after that, he announced that his “sexting” did not stop after his resignation from Congress, adding that the things he did “were wrong and hurtful to my wife.” Abedin was at his side when he made the announcement.

Weiner lost the Democratic mayoral primary.

Then, just a few months ago, “Weiner” the documentary came out — and surprised everyone with its depiction of Weiner and Huma during the time (three years earlier) that new “sexting” revelations came out during that mayoral run.

Fast-forward to this past Sunday, when a New York newspaper reported that Weiner had, again, been “sexting” with another woman — and this time Huma and Weiner’s son was in the photo.

Now, Huma says she’s finally had enough of Weiner. and I say, it’s about time. Far be it for me to judge anyone’s relationship, but from this distance, it does appear that Anthony Weiner is a sick puppy, in more ways than one.
